Find Your Ancestors
Lanlivery has been home to thousands of our ancestors down the ages. Here are some ideas of how you can find out about them.
This extract is from the 1854 Baptism Register. You can find the parish records up to the year 2000, in the Cornwall Record Office.

Were your ancestors baptised in this font? It was moved to the present position at the East end of the church in 1993 and occupies a lovely open space.
Maybe your forebears are buried in this plot. It is now full and we have purchased an adjoining plot of land, which was consecrated by the Bishop of St Germans on 9th July 2010, so that parishioners can still be laid to rest around the Parish church.
For a plan of the churchyard in the photograph on the left, please request by e-mail to lanlivery@gmail.com.
(Please note that the rows of headstones are not regular and you will need to keep looking for specific graves.)
